Patris is a seasoned IP expert, advising both Danish and international clients in all matters related to intellectual property rights, trade secrets, marketing practices, and regulatory work. Patris has particular expertise in advising clients in many different sectors such as life sciences and health care, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food and beverages, automotive, electronics, consumer goods and media & entertainment.

Patris advises on all contentious matters and has substantial experience as a litigator in cases involving patents, SPCs, trade secrets, and trademarks. He has assisted clients in preliminary injunction proceedings, preservation of evidence proceedings, and main actions, including nullity and damages proceedings. Patris also has considerable experience handling matters before the Danish Medicines Agency, the Danish Patents and Trademark Office, and the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

In addition, he works closely with clients on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, and advises on regulatory matters concerning pharmaceuticals, food products, and marketing – including the legal aspects of advertising medicinal products. Patris is regarded as one of the most promising young IP lawyers of his generation in Denmark.
