Our team continues to handle some of the most high-profile and principled disputes in IP and unfair competition in Danish courts across all sectors and technologies.

The IP team is one of the most experienced IP litigation teams in Denmark, and one of the very few IP teams in Denmark that covers IP litigation at the highest level within all the relevant IP disciplines thus covering patent, trademark, design, copyright and marketing practices litigation as well as regulatory life sciences law.

Members of the team have appeared more often before the Danish Supreme Court than most of our competitors.

Multinational Litigation Coordination

Drawing on our comprehensive international network in IP litigation, we assist our clients with organizing an international team of IP specialists and developing and coordinating strategies that take into account the pros and cons of litigating in several jurisdictions in parallel – whether as a rights holder or preparing as a prospective defendant.

While in some cases it may be beneficial to litigate in several jurisdictions simultaneously, in others it may be preferable to benefit from local procedures to, e.g., gather evidence in one jurisdiction for the purpose of litigating in another.

In short, we assist clients with devising the best strategy for each client’s specific, commercial purposes based on our deep understanding of the relevant mechanisms at play in multinational litigation coordination..

Arbitration and mediation

In addition to traditional court litigation, we also have substantial experience with both national and international arbitration and ADR in IP matters as well as court mediation, acting also as court mediators.
